Oiler Pride 9-16-17

As the Oilers took on the Midland Chemics on Friday night, it appeared as though it was going to be a back and forth game. After an unsuccessful first drive by Mount Pleasant, Midland took their second play of the game 60 yards to the house on a halfback dive right up the middle by #21 Martin Money, who would go on to have a heck of a game. Mount Pleasant found success in the passing game with passes towards the sidelines, and continued to use that until QB Jackson Ostrawsky found wideout Jayden Perry in the end zone to even the score. Unfortunately, from there on out it was all Midland and Money, who went on to score 3 more touchdowns as the Chemics would go on to win 34-13, elevating their record to 3-1 and the Oilers fell to 1-3. Next week, Mount Pleasant travels to Lapeer with hopes to add another check in the win column. Go Oilers!
